5. Weekly Reflection: "Adjusting the Focal Point" (Part
4 of 4)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings to all of you! Thank you for inviting us into your
thoughts and prayers. We are grateful to God and you for this
privilege
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. ~~ ** Mini-Reflection ** ~~
"Shout praises to the Lord! Everyone who serves Him, come
and praise His Name. Let the Name of the Lord be praised now and
forever. From dawn to sunset, the Name of the Lord deserves to be
praised. The Lord is far above all of the nations; He is more
glorious than the heavens. No one can compare with the Lord our
God. His throne is high above, and He looks down to see the
heavens and the earth. God lifts the poor and needy from dust and
ashes, and He lets them take part in ruling His people."
(Psalm 113:1-8.) This is a wondrous tribute to the Lord, *our*
God. He gives Himself to us. We are invited to drink Him into our
beings, the Living Water. This concept boggles my mind, but the
experience fills me with praise and gratitude!

2. ~~ ** Product and Services Updates ** ~~
We added a link to a free electronic greeting card service which
you'll find in the middle of the welcome page to our online store
(www.prayergear.com/prayerware.html). If you like sending e-cards
via e-mail, check out the thousands available under hundreds of
topics and occasions.
If you rather send Christian-oriented physical cards, review our
selection at www.prayergear.com/cards.html.
Since this month's Weekly Reflections emphasized the importance
and power of our prayer practices, we would like to remind you of
our hand-picked selection of the best books on prayer and
spiritual warfare at www.prayergear.com/pop.html.

3. ~~ ** Cruising Christian Cyberspace! ** ~~
Our feature this week is Sight-Impaired_Bible_Casettes
(http://search.gospelcom.net/aurora/pages/audio_home.htm)
In the spirit of missionary work and the Great Commission, you
can provide persons who are sight-impaired or poor readers with
the Bible on audio cassette. This is a free service, including
shipping. To prevent abuse, you will be asked to provide some
documentation regarding a seeing or reading disability.
For those who can read just fine but would like the Bible on
cassette for listening during "down time", like when
you are driving or jogging, we have several versions available at
www.prayergear.com/bibles.html.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
4. ~~ ** Let us know! ** ~~
Next month's Weekly Reflection theme is "Sweet
Sacrifices". This will begin the practice of writing
slightly shorter Reflections as we understand how busy (and
probably flooded with e-mail) you are. When is a sacrifice not
really a sacrifice? When is a sacrifice an act of pleasure and
love? Did the widow whom Christ observed offering most of her
savings to the temple consider her giving a sacrifice? We invite
your stories of sacrifices that touched you in some way. So let
the rest of us know what you know!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
5. This week's Weekly Reflection follows. Please
encourage others to subscribe! Share this newsletter with many of
your friends and help spread the word. That's our only means of
growing and reaching more people, your recommendations to others.
So in gratitude to God for all things, let me bid you peace and
strength in the Name of our Lord and please keep in touch with
us! We are blessed to hear from you!
John
