1. ~~ ** Mini-Reflection ** ~~
"The king wanted it done at that very moment. So the
soldiers tied up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and threw them
into the flaming furnace with all of their clothes still on,
including their turbans. The fire was so hot that flames leaped
out and killed the soldiers. Suddenly the king jumped up and
shouted, 'Weren't only three men tied up and thrown into the
fire?' 'Yes, Your Majesty,' the people answered. 'But I see four
men walking around in the fire,' the king replied. 'None of them
is tied up or harmed, and the fourth one looks like a god.'"
(Daniel 3:21-25.)
The fourth person was an angel of the Lord. When Daniel spent a
night in the lion pit, an angel stood guard between the hungry
lions and Daniel. (Daniel 6.) When Peter was in prison guarded by
four jailers, "Suddenly an angel from the Lord appeared, and
light flashed around in the cell. The angel poked Peter in the
side and woke him up. Then he said, 'Quick! Get up!' The chains
fell off his hands and...Peter left with the angel." (Acts
12:7-10.)
Many things to learn here. One of them that seems to be often
overlooked is that God didn't save his servants from being placed
under fire or confinement. He saved them from harm under those
challenging circumstances and freed them. Another is the angelic
intervention. God sends us advocates, from angels to the Holy
Spirit Himself. "Can anything separate us from the love of
Christ? Can trouble, suffering, hard times, hunger, nakedness or
danger and death? It is exactly as the Scriptures say, 'For You
we face death all day long. We are like sheep on their way to be
butchered.' In everything we have won more than a victory because
of Christ who loves us. I am sure nothing can separate us from
God's love; not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the
present or future, and not powers above or powers below. Nothing
in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ
Jesus our Lord!" (Romans 8:35-39.)

2. ~~ ** Product and Services Updates ** ~~
Our prayer warrior team consists of dedicated Christians
throughout the US. We would be happy to pray on behalf of your
needs and also share in thanking our Lord for His wonderful work
in our lives. You are welcome to send your requests and praises
to prayercare@aol.com.
It is difficult to predict what products will be needed or in
demand by our brothers and sisters in Christ. Lately there have
been many purchases of Bible cases and covers, so we added a few
new and special ones from the Embroidery Collection and the
Charleston Needlepoint Collection. Check them out at
www.prayergear.com/cases.html. We also have excellent books on
the issue of angelic intervention mentioned in the
Mini-Reflection and the power of prayer. Don't overlook them at
www.prayergear.com/pop.html.
Please keep in mind no one is drawing any salary from product
sales. All funds generated remain in the corporate account to
finance this ministry (and there are many months when we operate
at a loss.) In the absence of any funds for advertisement, we
rely on people like you to spread the word about this resource.

3. ~~ ** Cruising Christian Cyberspace! ** ~~
Our feature this week is Creation
Super Library.
There has been an increase in the media reporting of the issue of
creation versus evolution, especially pertaining to public
education. This is a very comprehensive web site offering
categories such as "Origin of Life," "Origin of
Species," "Fossil Record," "Educational
System," "Dinosaurs," "Catastrophe,"
"Astronomy," and more. It also features sections to
click for the Presidential candidates' stand on creation and what
kinds of religious expression are legally permissible in public
schools. Indeed, it is a "super library" of great value
to ministers, teachers, parents and all defenders of the faith.

4. ~~ ** Let us know! ** ~~
How are we doing? Are there products you would like to see
offered during these 40 days of preparation for the most holy day
of the Christian year? Also, we have subscribers in Indonesia,
Africa, and other regions where practicing the faith is far more
demanding and dangerous than here in the USA. We would welcome
hearing from you regarding the challenges you face. All of you
can teach the rest of us much. So let us know!

5. This week's Weekly Reflection follows. Please
encourage others to
subscribe! Share this newsletter with many of your friends and
help spread
the word. That's our only means of growing and reaching more
people, your recommendations to others.
So in gratitude to God for all things, let me bid you peace and
strength in the Name of our Lord and please keep in touch with
us! We are blessed to hear from you!
