1. ~~ ** Mini-Reflection ** ~~
Most of the interpretations of the lesson of the Book of Job we
ever heard revolve around Job's great faith and allegiance to
God. To put it in the vernacular, the book is portrayed as an
ongoing bet between God and Satan about how far God's servant can
be pushed, challenged and made to suffer before cracking and
turning his back on Him. Please consider a different take: Job's
faith wasn't the major target, but rather his arrogance and
pride. This is evident at the end, when God continually confronts
Job for four chapters (38-41) rhetorically questioning Job about
His power, designs and ways. Job humbly responds in six
sentences: "No one can oppose You, because You have the
power to do what You want. You asked why I talk so much when I
know so little. I have talked about things that are far beyond my
understanding. You told me to listen and answer Your questions. I
heard about You from others; now I have seen You with my own
eyes. That's why I hate myself and sit here in dust and ashes to
show my sorrow." (42:2-6) God's response was a simple,
"What Job says is true."
It was then, upon this realization and conclusion of Job, that
his tribulations ended. Job demonstrated wisdom, and wisdom
begins by "Respecting and obeying the Lord." (Proverbs
1:7)

2. ~~ ** Product and Services Updates ** ~~
We added a new section called "Covenant Keepers"
These are inexpensive, beautifully designed plastic prayer and
scripture cards that come with a corresponding popular lapel pin.
Consider them for inclusion in your Easter cards and gifts!
We are currently negotiating a partnership with the Yeshuateinu
Company sponsored by Messianic Jews. We welcome this opportunity
to provide products culturally geared toward our Jewish brothers
and sisters in Christ, which would also be of great interest to
all Christians. So look for another section addition to our
online store by midweek.
A reminder that no one is drawing any salary from product sales.
All funds generated remain in the corporate account to finance
our ministries (and there are many months when we operate at a
loss.) In the absence of any funds for advertisement, we rely on
people like you to spread the word about this resource.

3. ~~ ** Cruising Christian Cyberspace! ** ~~
Our feature this week is Calvary
Chapel's Homepage
(http://www.calvarychapel.com)
If you have a home church, we urge you to attend and help nurture
it. Corporate worship is powerful and mandated by the scriptures.
("Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves." Heb.
10:25) If you don't have one or are looking for one in the
tradition of apostolic Christianity, check out Calvary Chapel's
web site for great information on the practices, services and
history of the international growth of Calvary Chapels. You'll
find an index of all Calvary Chapels throughout the world and a
clickable map to quickly locate the one closest to you.
Read about another great web site below.

4. ~~ ** Let us know! ** ~~
A friend and subscriber encouraged us to look at WorldSkip.com
(http://www.worldskip.com).
This is not a specifically Christian web site, but it is
incredibly useful and interesting in our work. You can quickly
visit just about any country and read its newspapers, listen live
(real time) to its radio stations, retrieve whatever information
you wish and more. It gives us a good feel for the homelands of
our subscribers and mission concerns. Thanks for letting us know!

5. This week's Weekly Reflection follows. Please
encourage others to
subscribe! Share this newsletter with many of your friends and
help spread
the word. That's our only means of growing and reaching more
people, your recommendations to others.
So in gratitude to God for all things, let me bid you peace and
strength in the Name of our Lord and please keep in touch with
us! We are blessed to hear from you!
