--------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings to all in the Name of our Lord! On occasion (like this
one) we email our weekly communication to you a day early. We
have a packed weekend schedule of conferences and tasks in which
we faithfully anticipate a result of tremendous renewal of our
spirits and work and that of many others. In preparation, we wish
to devote most of the day tomorrow in prayer and study. Please
make a commitment as you read this to pray with and for us, for
the fulfillment of God's will, as we include all of you in our
prayers. Thank you.
"With God, all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

1. ~~ ** Mini-Reflection ** ~~
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be
acceptable in Your sight." (Psalms 19:14)
"The purpose of problems is to push you toward obedience to
God's laws, which are exact and cannot be changed. We have the
free will to obey them or disobey them. Obedience will bring
harmony, disobedience will bring you more problems."
"Many people profess Christianity. Very few live it. And
when you live it people may think you're crazy. It has been
truthfully said that the world is equally shocked by one who
repudiates Christianity as by one who practices it."
"For light I go directly to the Source of Light, not to any
of the reflections." - Peace Pilgrim (-1981)
"Christian means coming from Christ. Just as a Californian
comes from California and a Bostonian is someone who comes from
Boston, a Christian is one who comes from Christ." - Father
Don Walk
"You are a child of God. So act like it!" - Anon

2. ~~ ** Product and Services Updates ** ~~
"Choose this day whom you will serve...As for me and my
house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 14:15)
Last week we mentioned our plans to solidify a new affiliation,
the Yeshuateinu Company, and we did, adding another section on
our products store. Please check out
www.prayergear.com/Jewishroots.html.
In that section you will also find our own products relevant to
the Jewish roots of Christianity. You can read the testimony of
Dan Olds, a messianic Jew and the founder of the Yeshuateinu
Company, on our What's New! page at
www.prayergear.com/DanOldsTestimony.html.

3. ~~ ** Cruising Christian Cyberspace! ** ~~
"So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth;...and
prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)
Our Christian web site feature this week is
Lenten Links and Resources
(http://www.textweek.com/lent.htm)
This site draws from diverse Christian traditions and
denominations, providing a great set of links to prayers, art,
history and practices of the Lent season of Easter preparation.
The links to Easter-related sites are also worth exploring.
Easter is our holiest of sacred observations and refreshingly
lacking in the kind of commercial exploitation Christmas
attracts.

4. ~~ ** Let us know! ** ~~
"Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed
down, shaken together, running over." (Luke 6:38)
The above scripture verse has been generally associated with the
giving of material things. Yet the emphasis of Christ's teachings
is on spiritual giving and seeking. You, our family of
subscribers, living in diverse cultures and regions throughout
the earth, have much to give to us and one another. In so giving,
we all receive. Please consider the giving of your insights,
experiences, reflections and wisdom so we can
"resurrect" the "Subscriber Sharings" of this
newsletter and all be blessed.
I have a final thought concerning you, the Body of Christ, and
our unity in the Holy Spirit. On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit
manifested as flames of fire upon those present. In this earthly
realm, a fire flame cannot exist without coming from a substance
reacting with oxygen. As a kid, and still today, I am awed by the
wonder of a burning candle. The burning candle can only be if the
wick is in the fire, and the fire is in the wick. So it is with
our spirits and the Spirit of God.

5. This week's Weekly Reflection follows. Please
encourage others to
subscribe! Share this newsletter with many of your friends and
help spread
the word. That's our only means of growing and reaching more
people, your recommendations to others.
"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable,
whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever
is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything
worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things."
(Phillipians 4:8)
