Hello to our family of subscribers! If you are short on time,
consider printing this newsletter and reading it during those
spare moments scattered through out the day. Or give it to a

or other tasks. That way others may be blessed by learning about

1. ~~ ** Mini-Reflection ** ~~
The following scripture is terribly misquoted and its entire
truth is destroyed by one word. Can you quickly find that one
word? "Eternal life is to know about You, the only true God,
and to know Jesus Christ, the One You sent." (John 17:3.)
What is that one truth-destroying word? The Scriptures are about
God and His kingdom. These newsletters and Weekly Reflections are
about God and spiritual growth. But there is no life, eternal or
otherwise, in these words. The fallen demonic angels also know
about our Lord and our God. That truth-destroying word is
"about."
The accurately stated verse says, "Eternal life is to know
You..." There are people I am curious about, but I have no
interest in knowing them personally. That necessitates a
relationship, a merging of souls on some level. So I am now more
careful can ever about what relationships I cultivate and who I
learn to know.
I do want to know more about God, yes. But, a zillion times
greater is my desire to know God more and more. So after you read
Scripture, after you read this week's Reflection, after you read
about God, please put down the books and papers and do spend time
in prayer, speaking with Him and listening to Him. Getting to
know God more and more is the ultimate love affair!
