+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hello everyone and God bless us all! Please allow this portion of our last newsletter introduction to be repeated: "Our last Weekly Newsletter explained how we were "taking off" during the month of September (and possibly October) in order to concentrate on reorganizing our ministry focus and our online products store and would resume publication in late October. However, we received requests from new subscribers and some very encouraging letters. So we just couldn't "stay away." We treasure being able to share with you and are grateful for your receptivity."

So we continue with the Weekly Newsletters and thank you for inviting our reflections into your own. We also extend a great welcome to our new subscribers!

In Christ's service,
John

1. ~~ ** Mini-Reflection ** ~~

"In certain ways we are weak, but the Spirit is here to help us. For example, when we don't know what to pray for, the Spirit prays for us in ways that cannot be put into words. All of our thoughts are known to God. He can understand what is in the mind of the Spirit, as the Spirit prays for God's people." Romans 8:26-27.)

Isn't this great?! This declaration and reality sure helps me to sleep well at night and work with reassurance during the day. Many do not understand the dynamics of the Trinity, Three in One, but, understand it or not, it sure is a wondrous and comforting relationship between the Trinity of God and His children!

2. ~~ ** Cruising Christian Cyberspace! ** ~~

Our web site feature of the week is

American Center for Law and Justice
(http://www.aclj.org)

More Christians have been persecuted and martyred during the last century than during the first. Great gains for religious freedom were made during the last three centuries, but these, all over the world, are quickly being whittled away. Our many non-US subscribers should note that the American Center for Law and Justice does, at its name indicates, focus upon religious freedom in the US. However, this site should be a must-read for everyone. Operated by Christian attorneys and a strong support staff, you'll be both engaged and enraged by the review of issues, current cases in litigation, news releases, Supreme Court decisions, etc. You'll also be encouraged by its literature library, radio station streams and can even subscribe to their email newsletter.

3. ~~ ** Prayergear.com Product and Service Updates ** ~~

We have shut down the online store for the next several weeks. Our many distributors have introduced new products and discontinued others and we need to update our inventory and make sure that all advertised products are indeed immediately available to you. Thank you for your past patronage and the store will be back online soon!

However, please note that our affiliate's products we host on our web site, Fresh Wind Ministries of the Homer Church of Christ in Illinois, will still be processed by us. (www.prayergear.com/FWM.html)

4. ~~ ** Let us know! ** ~~

We aim to make this an interactive newsletter and are delighted to publish "guest" Reflections, commentaries and responses.

Also, to our non-US subscribers, if there is any organization with a similar mission as our American Center for Law and Justice in your country, please, let us know!

In our last newsletter we asked your opinion about the ongoing change of format, particularly of the Weekly Reflections. Most of you wrote that you prefer weekly topics over the monthly ones. Given that, we will change our format accordingly. However, we also invite you to submit topics that you would like us to address. So, thanks again for letting us know!

5. ~~ This week's Weekly Reflection follows below ~~

I call upon you all to fervently pray for the contiuation of this ministry and our sharing together. Your prayers are vital and powerful. We continue to pray for you as well. Remember to forward this newsletter to others whom you believe would be interested and encourage them to subscribe. That's the only way this email ministry grows.

In Christ's service and love,
John
